Whether you’re out on your bike or not, you always love seeing a Harley out on the road. Your love of all things Harley may even extend into which movies you see. There are a few quintessential Harley films, but there may be other movies that you didn’t realize had Harleys in them.

Most Badass Harley Movies

When you picture a Harley biker, you probably imagine leather jackets, dusty jeans, black boots and bandanas — a badass. Here are some movies showcasing Harley riders who ooze that character:

• “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”: This movie was one of those rare instances where the sequel was even more popular than the original. In the movie, the Terminator is riding a 1990 Fat Boy during its most iconic scene. John Connor is barely escaping the T-1000 until the Terminator climbs aboard his Harley and saves him.

• “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”: Wolverine is X-Men’s most badass character, and possibly one of the most badass superheroes out there. Wolverine rides an FL-Duo Glide in the movie. You really can’t beat a Harley chase AND Wolverine (literally) tearing through bad guys.

• “On Any Sunday”: During this motorcycling documentary, you’ll see both the XR 750 and the XRTT 750. Switch up your family’s movie night with this classic documentary.

• “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”: Indiana Jones is one of the most iconic fictional characters out there. You’ll see Shia LaBeouf and Harrison Ford riding a Springer Softail Classic. The bike was modified to look older to fit the setting of the movie. The bike is used in an exciting chase scene, as you go through Jones’ college campus lawn and even the buildings.

Classic Movies With Harley Motorcycles

These classic films aren’t famous for the Harley motorcycles in them. But watch them again to see when the motorcycle shows up and you’ll appreciate these movies all over again:

• “Rocky Horror Picture Show”: Eddie (played by Meat Loaf) escapes deep freeze in Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s lab. In the scene, Eddie rides a WLA around the lab during his own musical number, until being shot by Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

• “Pulp Fiction”: A customized 1986 FXR Super Glide makes a short appearance in this classic Quentin Tarantino film. Bruce Wilis’ character upgrades to this bike and uses it to escape a dangerous situation.

Most Iconic Movie Featuring a Harley

There are lots of great motorcycle movies out there. But the most iconic movie using a Harley is “Easy Rider.” This movie perfectly captures the lifestyle of a motorcyclist taking a road trip and getting to know the people in the Harley community. If you’re a big fan of both Harley Davidson and movies, but have never seen this one, you need to watch it as soon as possible.
